Üst-alt çene ameliyatı, tıbbi terim olarak “ortognatik cerrahi” olarak bilinir. Bu cerrahi prosedür, çene yapısındaki anomalileri düzeltmek için yapılır. Bu anomaliler, çenenin alt veya üst kısmının, hatta her ikisinin de normalden farklı bir pozisyonda olması durumudur.
